Okay, I know you want to see some other Scottish Fold kitties, so I've gathered up every Fold site I could find and included them all here. If you know of one that's missing from this list, please e-mail me with the info so I can add it.

Scottish Fold Catteries on the Web

This list is by no means complete, as only a fraction of existing catteries have web sites. But if you'd like to see some gorgeous pics of other Folds, check 'em out! (Please note that we make no endorsement of any cattery by listing it here. If you are looking for a Fold, please research the cattery/breeder.)

Other Scottish Folds on the Web

Whoohoo! This is my favorite part, where I get to introduce the personal home pages of other Scottish Folds I've met on the 'net. And don't forget to visit my Buddies pages!

There's a new discussion group for Scottish Fold lovers, hosted at Yahoo. You can sign up to receive postings via e-mail either individually or in a digest version. Or you can choose to log-on to read messages at the Yahoo web site instead. There's a "files" section where members can post and view pictures. Here's the description:

"A discussion list for any and all interested in the Scottish Fold breed of cat. The Scottish Fold Fancier's list is not a place for breeders to advertise kittens for sale or to air their grievances or personal opinions of other breeders. Neither will commercial advertising of any kind be tolerated. This list is about people who share their lives with Scottish Folds and wish to discuss their care, health and silliness. Violation of this edict will result in the immediate termination of the offending subscriber." Join ScottishFoldFanciers.

Another egroup dedicated to helping Folds in need is Fold-Rescue. You can learn more about rescue efforts at the Scottish Fold Rescue & Adoption Network site.

  • Norton Peter Gethers' third and final book in the Norton series ("The Cat Who'll Live Forever") has been released and the publisher has set up this "official" site honoring the most famous Fold ever, the one, the only Norton!
  • Eeyore's Homepage Features some gorgeous professional photos of Contessa Whilhemina (AKA "Mina"), a Master Grand Champion from Silver Nuggettes. And let's not forget about Donovan!
  • Marshmellow A California cutie!
  • Jamie, AKA Ming Mang's Mister Bluesky, is a solid blue boy who looks almost like he could be my twin. His site is now in both English and Dutch.
  • Francis is a brown and white tabby.
  • Silkie is a 4-yr-old black & white straight-eared Fold from New York City.
  • Meyer, Therapy Cat AKA Linanci's Lochloosa ChiggEar, Meyer retired from the show circuit and now spent his days providing rehabilitative pet therapy to victims of spinal cord injuries, thanks to a wonderful organization called Pets and People. Meyer crossed the Rainbow Bridge on March 26, 2003.
  • Zhuzhu Meow is a long-haired black & white Fold who won the Glamour Puss category in the first annual Whiskas Vitalife A-Cat-Emy Awards, which was celebrated in true Hollywood style.
  • Baker and Taylor were famous "library cats" at the Nevada Douglas County Public Library before they became mascots for the book publishers.
  • Soxy (AKA Sparkey) - Soxy was not born of Scottish Fold parentage, but due to a freak accident (he played in an electricity sub-station and took 11,000 volts!) his ears came to resemble those of a Scottish Fold, so we bestowed upon Soxy the title of "Honorary Scottish Fold." A few days later, Soxy crossed the Rainbow Bridge.
  • William Wallace was the first of four Folds to take up residence in his Florida abode. Now he lives with his mom, Potpourri, a young whippersnapper named Rudy Two Shoes (who likes to sleep in his dad's bagpipe case) and Rudy's mom, Spice Girl.
  • Dottie is straight-eared red spotted tabby who leads a charmed life.
  • Pamplemousse A cream tabby Fold from France. (site is in French.)
  • Pumpkin A tortie Fold from Washington, DC.

Another place to ogle over Folds:

  • Abyman's Cathouse Abyman breeds Abyssinians, but his site features some excellent pics of all breeds. This is a direct link to his Fold page!

This doesn't really fit anywhere else, but contains some good info about health issues.

Other Sites We Recommend

If you're looking for cool sites to surf, don't forget to visit my Awards page. Each award is linked back to its originator...they're all first-rate sites well worth a visit!

  • Lisa Violet's Cathouse is a great resource, with one of the most comprehensive sections about declawing on the web.
  • Tanya's Feline CRF Information Centre is one of the best places to get info on Chronic Renal Failure (AKA "kidney disease"). Jerome has CRF. While CRF is terminal, proper treatment and nutrition can extend an affected cat's life.
  • ErotiCats is "a place to celebrate the eternal and sensuous beauty of the feline form." Their motto is, "We're here. We're cute. Get used to it." (I hope the mention of pictures of nude cats sleeping with their humans won't jeopardize the "G" rating for Jerome's Home.) It's all tongue-in-cheek and a delightful visit!
  • Pawprints & Purrs Home of the Bachman Kiddens. An excellent animal welfare resource site.
  • Back Fence Cat Club Do not under any circumstances let your humans think you're hanging out with subversive cats here!
  • Cyber-Pets ...boldly go where no pet fancier has gone before... Warning! In addition to Cyber-Cat there's also a Cyber-Dog section here, but you don't have to click on it, okay?
  • Absolutely Cats
  • Why Cats Paint I dunno. Why do they?
  • Dancing With Cats Companion site to Why Cats Paint.
  • Kitty Porn Sexy nude cats!
  • Internet Cat Club For cat owners who are also into their computers.
  • The Cat Site
  • Vicki Whyte's Ultimate WWW Cat Page

The Webmaster's Other Site

  • 13th Bomb Squadron Association The history of one USAF bomb squadron during the Korean War. A/B-26s, nose art, strike targets, bent/broken planes, oral histories, MIAs. Over 500 photos. (Cubby's stepowner is the group's historian and site director.)
