I agree with you those leashes and the great outdoors stink. My mom tried to put a leash on me once, I almost choked. I tried to escape to the great outdoors once when I was little. My mom caught me within 2 feet. Oh well. |

Belle
Cornflowers Silver Belle, AKA Belle, is 1-1/2 years old but this pic was taken when she was only 8 weeks. Belle lives in the Phoenix area with Kathy Siverson in a 10-cat household, and enjoys the luxury of being a full-time pet. But there's another Fold in the house who racked up quite a few ribbons in the kitten class. Wind Danc'ear is now 8 months and recently Granded as a Premier! |

Wind Danc'ear
 At Danc'ear's first show as a Premier in San Bernardino, California this past June, Kathy won a Chanan portrait session in a raffle! She shared the secret of how Chanan gets those gorgeous pics that have made him the world's best-known cat photographer. Sam Sam is a recent addition to the Gethers household in Texas. If that name sounds familiar, yes, they're related to Peter Gethers who wrote the best-selling books about Norton ("The Cat Who Went to Paris" and "A Cat Abroad"), probably the world's most famous Scottish Fold. Peter's brother Eric and sister-in-law Joel were the ones responsible for Peter getting Norton in the first place. Sadly, we learned that Norton passed away May 8, 1999 from kidney failure. The AP News wire headline read, "Norton, feline adventurer, dead at 16." He also received a full-page write-up in People magazine. Rest in peace, Norton. You touched the hearts of Fold lovers everywhere and we will miss you. (Click on the thumbnail and you'll get to see four pics of Sam.) |

Navarre
This sleepy-looking dude (acutally, he's probably just meditating) was rescued from a shelter in Phoenix and now resides in Tucson, Arizona. He was named after a character from the film "Ladyhawke" but has made the name uniquely his own. He likes cereal bowls, preferably with less cereal and more milk. He says his life is too mellow to be concerned with such things as having a web page. |

| Calvin Calvin is a very special little guy (he's only 5-1/2 pounds!) who lives in the San Francisco Bay area in California. He's a volunteer with the Friendship Foundation and spends his spare time visiting rest homes and children's hospitals, bringing smiles and purrs to those who need them. He especially loves to be held "cradle style" like a baby, just one of the ways he goes above and beyond the call of "cute." |

Update February 2000! At the ripe old age of five+ years, Calvin is finally learning the joys of Buddha sitting. (Maybe there's hope for Gizmo yet!) He has also bulked up to six pounds and is shown here in a recent photo using his dad's size 9-1/2 shoes for a pillow. |
